BTS’s Jin Tops September 2024 Individual Brand Reputation Rankings

BTS's Jin ranked first in the September 2024 individual brand reputation analysis for boy group members.

According to the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute, the big data analysis results for September 2024 showed that Jin of BTS came in first, followed by ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo in second place and Wanna One’s Kang Daniel in third.

To analyze the brand reputation of individual boy group members, the institute extracted brand big data from 730 individual boy group members between August 21, 2024, and September 21, 2024. They created indices such as participation, media, communication, and community to analyze the brand reputation index. This index reflects the significant impact of consumers’ online habits on brand consumption, generated through big data analysis.

BTS’s Jin achieved a brand reputation index of 2,949,770, with a participation index of 362,858, media index of 543,243, communication index of 982,596, and community index of 1,061,073.

In second place, ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo had a brand reputation index of 2,629,693, with participation, media, communication, and community indices of 617,969, 669,559, 647,646, and 694,519, respectively.

Wanna One’s Kang Daniel ranked third with a brand reputation index of 1,594,520, and his participation, media, communication, and community indices were 283,571, 553,838, 364,347, and 392,764, respectively.

Gu Chang-hwan, the director of the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute, stated, “In the link analysis for the brand of BTS’s Jin, which ranked first in August 2024, the terms ‘strong,’ ‘warm,’ and ‘handsome’ received high ratings. In keyword analysis, ‘Run, Seokjin,’ ‘Super Tuna,’ and ‘variety show genius’ were highly analyzed. The positive-to-negative ratio analysis showed a positive rate of 93.03%.”
