BTS’s Jin Ranks 1st for Best Olympic Torch Relay Moment, Surpassing Top US Actors
BTS member Jin has demonstrated his global influence by ranking 1st in the "Best Olympic Torch Relay Moment."
On August 2, the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the “2024 Paris Olympics Commentary” announced that Jin had secured the top spot in the “Best Olympic Torch Relay Moment” ranking.
The official account conducted a poll starting on July 27, featuring candidates who participated in the Paris Olympic torch relay.
Jin surpassed prominent figures such as American actress Halle Berry, legendary Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal, and American singer and fashion designer Pharrell Williams to proudly claim first place.
Previously July 14 (local time), Jin made headlines by participating in the torch relay for the “2024 Paris Summer Olympics” in Paris, France.
Jin carried the torch from the Rivoli Street intersection to the Carrousel Square and handed it over to the next torchbearer in front of the Louvre Museum’s pyramid.
Renowned media outlets in France, the US, and other countries extensively covered Jin’s participation and the local enthusiasm, while official Olympic-related accounts swiftly reported on his involvement.
