BTS’s Jin Gives Helpful Tips To Members Ahead Of Their Enlistment, “Memorize the Military Exercise”

BTS’s oldest brother Jin helped the members to prepare for their upcoming enlistment

On November 8th, Jin recently went on the global fan community Weverse and left comments under Jungkook’s live broadcast, saying “ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋJK~~~”, adding “Try to memories the ROK Military Exercises while working outㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ”. Jin, who enlisted in December last year, was giving helpful tips to his brother who is about to join the army.

The ROK Military Exercise is the essential training exercise that military trainees must learn before entering the army. With only bare-handed exercise, this is the initial step that allows trainees to adapt to the transition from a civilian to a military soldier. Jin, who is currently an assistant in the military recruitment center, shared some tips based on his experiences with the members. In fact, all Korean soldiers start their daily routine with the ROK Military Exercise.

Jimin and Jungkook will enlist at the Infantry Division 5’s boot camp where Jin is serving as a military assistant. The two will receive training in the 10th unit while Jin is in the 11th unit. Since they will stay at the same boot camp, the members will be able to meet each other at the office or cafeteria as assistant Kim Seok-jin, trainee Park Ji-min and trainee Jeon Jung-kook. They will also do the ROK Military Exercise together as all units will gather at the training ground in the morning.

On the live broadcast before his enlistment, J-Hope also revealed that Jin called him every day and gave many helpful advice to prepare for military life. On the day J-Hope entered his boot camp, Jin, who is serving in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do, came to Won-ju, Gangwon-do to send his brother off, showcasing their strong friendship. In May, Jin replied to a fan who posted about J-Hope on Weverse with a letter expressing concerns about his member in the military.

Jin’s warm tips for the members right ahead of their enlistment received explosive responses on SNS, making “ROK Military Exercise” rise to the Real-time Top Trending on X (formerly Twitter). Fans around the world are also looking to Jin’s activities in the future as he will get discharged on June 12th next year.
