BTS’s Jimin Shines on Global Charts with Solo Album “Face”

BTS Jimin’s solo album is continuing its long run on charts worldwide.

On May 22nd, Jimin’s first solo album, “Face,” entered the Oricon Weekly Album Chart at 47th place for the “Weekly Digital Album” chart and 26th place for the “Western Album” chart, maintaining its position on both charts for seven consecutive weeks.

In addition, after reaching No. 2 on the “Monthly Album” chart in March, the album ranked 33rd in April. On the “Monthly Western Album” chart, it ranked 1st in March and 8th in April, securing a spot in the Top 10.

On Billboard Japan, Jimin’s album “Face,” which had taken 1st place in three major album chart categories during its debut week, entered the “Download Album” chart at 40th place on May 17th, maintaining its position on the chart for eight consecutive weeks. It also re-entered the “Hot Album Chart” at 96th place.

The title track “Like Crazy” reached No. 1 on Billboard Vietnam’s Hot 100 chart in its debut week and rose to 5th place on May 18th, achieving seven consecutive weeks in the Top 10. “Set Me Free Part 2,” which debuted at 5th place, re-entered the chart this week at 94th place, displaying steady popularity.

Jimin’s “Like Crazy,” which debuted at 2nd place, climbed to 10th place this week on the Singapore RIAS Chart in the “Top Regional” category, and also rose No. 18 on the “Top Digital Streaming” category, maintaining its chart presence for eight consecutive weeks in both categories.

On India’s “IMI International Top 20 Singles” chart, Jimin debuted at the highest position among Korean solo songs, ranking 2nd. In Malaysia’s RIM Singles Chart, it remained in the Top 20 for five consecutive weeks.

In the Middle East and North Africa, on the official chart MENA, Jimin’s “Like Crazy” became the first and only Korean artist to reach 1st place, successfully maintaining a spot in the top 10 for four consecutive weeks, marking the longest chart run. 

As a solo artist, Jimin has achieved remarkable success in the eight major music markets, including the United States and the United Kingdom, as well as various countries in Europe. 

Jimin has captivated the hearts of music fans worldwide, transcending language and cultural barriers, showcasing a global presence that extends from Asia to the Middle East and several countries in South America.
