On July 31st, photos of BTS’s J-hope in the military spread widely in online communities and X (formerly Twitter).
J-Hope, who is currently serving as an assistant instructor at BaekHo Training Center Division 36, will be discharged on October 17th. Two months ahead of his official discharge, J-Hope attended the training completion ceremony held on July 31st with a cool appearance.
According to witnesses of people attending the completion ceremony, this would be the last batch of trainees J-Hope instructed. An officer at the training center said, “We are proud to have superstar J-Hope in our unit”, adding “This is the last batch of soldier trainees he instructed before being discharged”.
In the released video, J-Hope was bowing to greet the families of the trainees at the completion ceremony. When everyone applauded, he smiled shyly and showed and smiled brightly. J-Hope skillfully managed the crowd so that the training completion ceremony could proceed smoothly.
Earlier in October last year, J-Hope made headlines when he was selected as an elite warrior. Expressing his feelings about being able to serve as an assistant instructor, J-Hope said, “I feel as proud as when promoting as BTS”.
