Netizens continue to discuss BTS V’s relationship with BLACKPINK’s Jennie after he changed his Instagram profile picture
On March 15th, BTS’s V released the music video for his new digital single “FRI(END)S”. Despite having no promotion because V is serving in the military, the song still achieved impressive results. “FRI(END)S” debuted at No.7 on Spotify Global and topped the iTunes Chart in 80 countries and regions.
On the 16th, he also changed his Instagram profile picture to a black-and-white photo according to the concept of the music video. The photo caused a stir as some netizens immediately noticed that V’s profile picture was similar to that of BLACKPINK’s Jennie. In addition, the bridges behind them looked as if they were connected and the two were facing each other.
Although Korean media reported that V and Jennie had already broken up before V enlisted, fans still found hints about the two’s romantic relationship. Some speculated that the lyrics of V’s new song were about Jennie, while others pointed out that many details in Jennie’s photos in France reminded them of V.
