On October 14th, BTS V held a solo fan meeting where he met with over 1,400 fans
The fan meeting, which lasted about 120 minutes, was filled with laughter and cheers from start to finish.
‘VICNIC’ is a combination of V’s name and ‘PICNIC,’ inspired by V’s desire to spend time with fans like a picnic. V began the fan meeting by reading a solemn statement, expressing his intention to enjoy it happily.
In the first segment, fans watched the music videos of songs from V’s solo album ‘Layover,’ released last month, and solved quizzes related to them. V introduced the behind-the-scenes stories of each music video.
In the following ‘Mini Sports Day’ concept segment, some fans and V were divided into ‘ARMY Team’ and ‘BTS Team’ for table tennis, acronym quizzes, random play challenges, and a game called ‘Speak with Your Body.’
When BTS’s Jimin unexpectedly appeared as a guest on V’s team, fans erupted in cheers. V and Jimin gave humorous answers in the acronym quiz and heated up the atmosphere by dancing with fans during the random play challenge. They also sang a duet of ‘Friend,’ giving fans a special gift.
Additionally, V prepared performances of ‘Slow Dancing’ and ‘For Us’ from his solo album, creating a mini concert-like atmosphere.
After interacting closely with fans, taking photos together under the stage, and creating special memories together, V conveyed his sincerity by saying, “I wanted to spend a day where we can laugh, chat, and have fun together. I missed you. Thank you,” as he wrapped up the fan meeting.
