BTS to perform at the 2021 American Music Awards, collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion

The group BTS will attend the 2021 American Music Awards (AMAs), a prestigious U.S. pop music awards ceremony. 

The “American Music Awards” (hereinafter referred to as the AMAs) has announced the list of performing artists at this year’s AMAs on its official website and SNS on Nov 8th . According to this, BTS will attend the awards ceremony and perform “Butter.” In particular, this stage will be held as a collaboration stage with Megan Thee Stallion, who was featured in the remix version of “Butter.”

BTS was nominated for three categories at the 2021 AMAs: Artist of the Year, Favorite Pop Duo/Group, and Favorite Pop Song for “Butter”. BTS has been nominated for four consecutive years from 2018, and has won three consecutive years until last year.

Starting with “Favorite Social Artist” in 2018, BTS has won trophies in three categories “Favorite Social Artist,” “Favorite Pop/Rock Duo/Group,” and “Tour of the Year” in 2019. They also received the awards for “”Favorite Social Artist” and “Favorite Pop/Rock Duo/Group” last year.

The 2021 American Music Awards will be held at 8 p.m. on Nov 21st at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, USA, and will be broadcast live on the U.S. TV channel ABC.

Meanwhile, BTS will hold an offline concert “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA” in Los Angeles, USA, from November 27th to 28th and December 1st to 2nd after attending the 2021 American Music Awards.
