On Jan 31st, BTS released their handwritten letters on social media. Each member gave their New Year’s greetings to fans with a unique atmosphere and phrases.

RM said, “I pray for your safety and well-being and happiness this year,” adding, “I don’t know what kind of year 2022 will be, but as always, I will do my best in a given situation as I have always done. I hope you have a happy new year,” he wrote.

Jin said, “I will cheer for you until the day your wishes for this new year come true,” while Suga wrote, “In 2022, I hope to see you again as often as before and for all ARMY to achieve all the wishes and goals successfully. Let’s have happier days this year.”

J-Hope said, “Let’s eat a lot of delicious food, and please be healthy. I love you,” he said, wishing for the health and success of his fans. Jimin said, “I hope ARMY will smile more this year and have a healthy body and mind. Thank you for staying and always waiting for us, and I love you with all my heart.”

V said, “Everyone, have a happy new year. ^^ In 2022 always be healthy, happy, and don’t get hurt.  Be successful at work, focus well, and earn lots of money and anyway, stay healthy. I will cheer for you a lot. Please eat rice cake soup. Bye-bye!” 

Jungkook said, “We have a colder new year than ever! As I said all the time, always take care of your health, wear a mask & be careful not to catch a cold, eat delicious food to have a meaningful day. I hope you have a happy day. I hope BTS can give you good energy this year too!!! I love you~”

Meanwhile, at the ‘2022 NME Awards’ hosted by NME, a British music magazine, scheduled to be held on March 2 (local time), BTS won the category of ‘Best Song in the World‘ respectively with ‘Butter‘ and ‘My Universe’, a collaboration song with Coldplay. They were also nominated for the “Best Song in the World” and the “Best Collaboration” category.
