BTS, Red Velvet, and Stray Kids topped the Hanteo Weekly World Chart

The Hanteo weekly charts for the 2nd week of December have been released, with BTS, Red Velvet, and Stray Kids staying on top. 

At 10:00 AM (KST) on December 12th, Hanteo Chart, the world’s one-and-only real-time music chart, announced its weekly world chart, physical album chart, and certification chart for the 2nd week of December 2022.

The world chart, which is compiled weekly based on global data of Kpop artists such as albums, music sources, certifications, SNS, and media, is considered a comprehensive chart. For the 2nd week of December, BTS ranked 1st on this chart, followed by Red Velvet in 2nd and Stray Kids in 3rd.  

On the other hand, topping the Hanteo Physical Album Chart in the same period was Red Velvet’s “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday” album, which recorded 231,249,016 points (weekly album sales of 244,081 copies). The girl group rose one notch from last week, and took first place.

Next, BTS’ “LOVE YOURSELF 承 ‘Her” assumed 2nd place, RM’s “Indigo” came in 3rd, ITZY’s “CHESHIRE” landed in 4th, and 5th place belongs to Jung Dong Won’s “MAN”.

The 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th positions belongs to P1Harmony’s “HARMONY : SET IN”, Stray Kids’ “MAXIDENT”, SEVENTEEN’s “Face the Sun”, NMIXX’s “ENTWURF”, and SEVENTEEN’s “An Ode”, respectively. 

Meanwhile, Stray Kids’ “MAXIDENT” took first place on the weekly certification chart, maintaining a consecutive 5-week streak on the chart.

In 2nd place is Red Velvet’s “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday”, 3rd place is RM’s “Indigo”, 4th place is ITZY’s “CHESHIRE”, 5th place is SEVENTEEN’s “Face the Sun”. The remaining 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th positions belongs to Xdinary Heroes’ “Overload”, NCT 127’s “2 Baddies” LE SSERAFIM’s “ANTIFRAGILE”, BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK”, and Jin’s “The Astronaut”.

The Hanteo Weekly charts for the 2nd week of December is based on data compiled from December 5th to December 11th. The Weekly World Chart uses global data of Kpop artists, the Physical Album Chart is based on global album sales index, while the Certification Chart is based on the number of authentic albums certified by foreign fans.
