BTS Jungkook distressed by his performance at Suga’s concert, “Still an amateur”

At BTS Suga’s concert, Jungkook appeared as a guest and delivered a surprise performance, but made a mistake.

On August 5th, BTS Jungkook held a live broadcast on the fan community Weverse. Here, the male idol mentioned his participation as a guest in Suga’s solo concert.

It is known that previously on August 4th, Suga held an encore solo concert at KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu.

On that day, Jungkook unexpectedly appeared as a guest and showed his immense support by passionately singing Suga’s mixtape “Burn It”. However, upon hearing the cheers from ARMYs (fans of BTS), Jungkook seemed surprised and made a slight mistake in the lyrics.

Though it was a minor mistake that wouldn’t be noticeable if not mentioned, Jungkook seemed to be continuously distressed by it even after the concert ended, eventually leading him to start a live broadcast.

Under the title “Sigh…”, Jungkook began the live broadcast and immediately said, “I must have been so nervous,” and continued, “I shouldn’t ruin Yoongi hyung’s performance…”. (Yoongi here refers to the real name of BTS Suga).

“It’s been a while since I saw so many ARMYs, so I must have been nervous. That’s why I fumbled on the lyrics”, the male idol said while laughing awkwardly.

Apologizing to ARMYs and Suga, Jungkkok also evoked laughter by adding, “I shouldn’t make mistakes like this. I’m so disappointed. I can’t forgive myself for this. I’m still an amateur”.

Then, as Suga appeared in the chatting section of the live broadcast, Jungkook asked, “Give me another chance tomorrow. Can I perform again tomorrow, hyung?”

To this, Suga firmly responded, “No, not tomorrow,” causing fans to burst into laughter.

Throughout the broadcast that lasted for over two hours, Jungkook spoke about his mistake for about an hour, revealing his distress.

Meanwhile, netizens who watched the broadcast left comments such as, “It was so natural that no one would have known if he hadn’t mentioned it. That’s a true top star for you,” “Jungkook distressed by his performance at Suga’s concert feels like a top student who cries after getting a question wrong”, “It’s so funny that he can’t let go of his regret throughout the entire live broadcast”, “It’s cute that he’s upset over such a minor mistake, that’s how he grows,” and “He’s truly a perfectionist.”

Meanwhile, Jungkook has been receiving significant love domestically and internationally for his first solo single “SEVEN”, which was released on July 14th.
