BTS Jung Kook to release 4 additional remixed versions of “SEVEN”

Four remixed versions of “SEVEN” by Jung Kook will take different spins on the original release.

On July 21, BTS Jungkook announced the release of four additional remix versions of the solo single “SEVEN.” They are announced in the form of visualizers on BTS’ official SNS. The four remixes are named “Nightfall,” “Island,” “Festival,” and “Lofi.”

“Island”’s arrangement is reminiscent of a vacation with a strong Afro-Pop influence and upbeat sound to generate a sense of freedom.

The “Nightfall” mix used a pizzicato technique on string instruments to emulate a dark, dramatic, yet romantic, charm for the version.

As its name suggests, the “Festival” mix imbues the atmosphere with festive spirit through strong EDM (electronic dance music) sounds.

Finally, the “Lofi” mix is an arranged version of the lofi hip-hop genre that combines the jazzy sounds of the horn and piano and elements of hip-hop.

“SEVEN,” released on July 14, is Jung Kook’s first official solo song. It is a summer song that contains a confession that he wants to be with his lover all week.
