BTS Jimin was awarded an honorary diploma by Busan Arts High School for contributing to the school’s development

Jimin, a member of the top KPOP boy group BTS, received an honorary diploma from Busan Arts High School.

On February 11th, Busan Arts High School stated, “We awarded Jimin an honorary diploma”, adding, “Jimin’s father attended the graduation ceremony on February 9th. Jimin’s father also acknowledged Jimin’s contribution and we also delivered the appreciation plaque to him”, They added, “The graduation ceremony was briefly held with the attendance of only the school’s members in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19”.

A school official told Star News on the same day, “We highly appreciated Jimin’s great contributions to the Korean culture and arts through BTS activities and to the development of our school, including donating to the development funds to replace facilities at school.”

Jimin entered Busan Arts High School in 2011, majoring in contemporary dance. However, he later dropped out of school in May 2012 and moved to live in Seoul to prepare for his debut as a singer.
