On the 2nd, on the military communication platform ‘The Camp,’ photos of trainees from the Baekho Recruit Training Center, 36th Infantry Division in Wonju, Gangwon Province, were released.
In the published photos, J-Hope, having completed a 20km march with the trainees, caught attention with his bright smile. In a group photo taken with the trainees, he displayed a dignified look wearing sunglasses.
His sturdy appearance and distinctive visuals captured the fans’ gaze.
J-Hope, who enlisted on April 18th last year, was selected as a drill instructor for the Baekho Recruit Training Center and obtained the qualification of a special forces warrior, awarded to outstanding soldiers, in October. He has also served as a squad leader, maintaining an exemplary military life.
J-Hope drew attention with a letter to fans on December 31st. He expressed his readiness to welcome the discharge year and shared his aspirations for post-military activities, saying, “I am preparing to welcome the year of discharge. I only think about showing you a wonderful appearance as soon as possible.” J-Hope’s scheduled discharge date is October 17th.
