BTS Fans Have Created a Global Trend with The Hashtag “MinHeeJin OUT”

BTS ARMY Calls for HYBE Executive's Removal Amid Jungkook Criticism Controversy

Currently, BTS fans (also known as ARMY) are actively pushing the “MinHeeJin OUT” hashtag to the top of search rankings in protest of Min Hee Jin’s reinstatement at ADOR. It is ranked 2nd and 9th in the U.S., 2nd in Canada, 3rd in Germany, 5th in Australia, 10th in France, and 4th in the Netherlands. Fans are even gathering signatures to submit an international petition.

Not only BTS fans but also some international fans of LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT have joined the movement.

Previously, after Jungkook (BTS) subtly expressed support for NewJeans and suggested that young artists should not be used as shields, some HYBE staff took to Blind (a community platform for employees) to vent their frustrations, even referring to Jungkook as “THE BIGGEST IDIOT”.

While this global boycott against Min HeeJin may not significantly impact opinions within South Korea, it is predicted that her career as a producer could be effectively over.

Regardless of whether she launches a new boy group or girl group, or continues managing NewJeans, it is expected that global ARMYs will boycott all her work due to the “Min HeeJin” label.

Min HeeJin has essentially become a symbol of failure in the international market. It remains to be seen if she will be able to secure support and investment from external sources. The unprecedented unity of global ARMYs in boycotting Min Hee Jin is truly surprising.
