On March 2, members JeA, Miryo, Narsha, and Ga In each took to their personal social media accounts to commemorate the milestone. The group shared photos together with a celebratory cake, marking two decades since their debut in 2006.
Miryo expressed her disbelief and gratitude, writing, “I can’t believe it’s already Brown Eyed Girls’ 20th anniversary. I think today exists because of the fans who have stayed by our side all this time.” She also revealed that she personally visited fan-prepared anniversary café events and subway advertisements. “I was worried I might get too shy if I saw them in person, so I left with photos instead—but my heart is full. Let’s stay together for a long, long time,” she added.

She did not forget her fellow members, sharing a heartfelt message: “Thank you for being there, members. Even if I’m not good with words, my heart has always felt this way. As JeA said, it’s ‘only been 20 years,’ so let’s stay healthy and continue for a long time. I love you, Brown Eyed Girls.”
Leader JeA also celebrated the occasion with joy. “Happy 20th anniversary, Brown Eyed Girls! I was so excited while preparing the cake, and I’m thrilled that you liked it,” she wrote. Echoing a hopeful sentiment for the future, she added, “Just like the lettering on the cake says, it’s only been 20 years—this is just the beginning.”
Narsha kept her message short but filled with affection: “I love you, Brown Eyed Girls. Don’t get sick. Let’s be together for a long time. Brown Eyed Girls are the best.”

Ga In shared selfies with the anniversary cake and group photos through her Instagram Story, completing the long-awaited full-group moment that fans had been hoping to see.
Debuting in 2006, Brown Eyed Girls cemented their place in K-pop history with hit songs such as “Abracadabra,” “Sign,” and “Sixth Sense.” Known for their powerful vocals, mature concepts, and bold performances, the group became one of the most iconic second-generation girl groups.
While no official comeback has been announced, the members’ reunion and celebratory messages have fueled speculation that new group activities could be on the horizon. As JeA put it, it may be “only the beginning” for Brown Eyed Girls—even after 20 remarkable years.
