Colin Crooks, a British Ambassador to South Korea, recently appeared on the TV show “You Quiz on the Block”.
On the afternoon of June 21st, the TVN entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block” aired a special episode, which featured Colin Crooks, the British Ambassador to South Korea.
Here, Colin Crooks, the only ambassador in the world to have served as ambassador to both North and South Korea, expressed his affection for South Korea and described it as his second home.
When asked if he had a favorite singer in Korea, Colin Crooks said, “I mostly like singers from the 90s,” and named Seo Taiji as his favorite singer, attracting attention. The ambassador then added, “(I also like) Modern singers like BLACKPINK. There are many ‘Blinks’ (BLACKPINK fans) at the embassy.”
Afterwards, Colin Crooks also mentioned that BLACKPINK was a special guest at the Queen’s birthday party last year. He also mentioned the girl group’s exceptional connection, as BLACKPINK participated as climate change ambassadors during the UK’s presidency of the climate change conference the previous year.
Meanwhile, “You Quiz on the Block” is a program that follows the spontaneous travels of Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho, which airs every Wednesday at 8:40 PM (KST).
