Apink‘s Bomi recently held a fairytale wedding with top Korean producer Rado from the hitmaker duo Black Eyed Pilseung at the Grand Hyatt Seoul hotel. The ceremony was hosted by comedian Kim Ki Ri, while idol groups including Apink, STAYC, and Unchild performed congratulatory songs for the newlyweds.
One emotional moment that quickly spread across online communities showed Apink’s youngest member Oh Ha Young bursting into tears while watching Bomi’s happy moment during the wedding ceremony.
The Apink members gathered together early in the day to celebrate Bomi’s special occasion. They reportedly spent time together in the waiting room and even took a meaningful commemorative group photo with the bride before the ceremony officially began.

However, both the media and the public quickly noticed that Son Naeun was the only Apink member absent from the wedding. What made the situation even more controversial was the attendance of former member Hong Yoo Kyung, who left the group back in 2013. In contrast, Naeun remained with Apink until 2022 yet was completely missing from the wedding. This striking contrast immediately fueled heated debate across social media platforms.
On Weibo, many viewers began speculating that the sister-like relationship between Naeun, Bomi, and the other Apink members may have seriously broken down to the point where they no longer wanted to appear together publicly. Some netizens even accused Bomi and the remaining members of isolating and completely excluding Naeun from the group dynamic.
At the same time, many fans defended Bomi and the members, insisting that Naeun gradually distanced herself from Apink rather than being ostracized by the group.

As of now, neither Naeun nor Bomi and the other Apink members have publicly addressed the growing controversy surrounding the wedding drama.
In reality, the relationship between Naeun and the Apink members has long been a topic of curiosity and speculation among the public. Five years ago, Naeun did not participate in promotions for Apink’s 10th anniversary album. In addition, during an interview following the conclusion of the 2024 drama Romance in the House, Naeun openly stated, “I no longer keep in contact with the Apink members.”

Her statement about losing contact with the members after leaving Apink sparked intense discussion online at the time. Many netizens interpreted the comment as evidence that Naeun’s relationship with the group had never been particularly good and may have even been very strained.
According to many fans, the fact that former member Hong Yoo Kyung who left the group over a decade ago still maintains close contact with Bomi and the other members only further highlights the apparent distance and unresolved tension between Naeun and her former teammates.

Apink debuted in 2011 as a seven-member girl group and quickly rose to fame across Asia thanks to the success of their hit song My My during their debut year. In 2013, Hong Yoo Kyung left the group. Nine years later, Naeun also departed in order to focus on acting activities.
Throughout their career, Apink built a strong reputation with hit songs including My My, Hush, NoNoNo, and Mr. Chu, all of which helped cement the group’s place as one of the most beloved girl groups of their generation.
