BoA Recalled Japanese Celebrities Avoiding Talking To Her And Producing NCT Wish
BoA confessed the struggles she had during her Japanese career.
BoA appeared in the ‘Open Interview’ section of Channel A’s newest episode of the program ‘NewsA’, which aired on March 30.
In her 24th year since her debut, BoA was asked on the show when she had the most difficult time in her career in the entertainment industry. BoA replied, “To be honest, it was hard to do overseas activities. Japanese celebrities didn’t even talk to me much. Rather than being neglected, I felt somewhat distant there were not that many foreign singers in Japan.”
When asked what kind of artist she wants to remain as, BoA said, “I think music is a real time machine. When I listen to old songs, they take me back to where I was. There are many ways to go. I think that’s how hard-working I have lived.”
BoA, who has already turned 37, said, “I feel like I’m having fun in a world that goes beyond the realm of singers,” referring to her recently participating in the production of NCT Wish. BoA said, “I had so much fun producing NCT Wish, and I was so amazed and proud to see them develop.”
