On the afternoon of the 6th, a global online media showcase was held to commemorate the debut of MEOVV. Members Sooin, Gawon, Anna, Narin, and Ella attended the event, along with MC Shin Ah-young.
MEOVV is the first girl group from The Black Label, led by producer Teddy. Teddy has produced for top-tier artists such as Big Bang, BLACKPINK, and 2NE1. With his track record of success, there is considerable attention on what MEOVV will bring to the table.
Member Gawon shared about the advice they received from Teddy and other senior artists ahead of their debut, saying, “Rather than giving specific advice, producer Teddy took care of even the smallest details that we hadn’t thought of. He discussed and helped us decide on everything in great detail, for which we are very grateful and respectful. Every word from him gives us energy.”
The female idol continued, “Our senior Rosé also shared good advice with us. She talked about the importance of loving music even more deeply when you have the time and environment to fully love it. I could feel how sincere she is about music.”
In addition, Gawon said, “Somi sunbae-nim is our mental support.”
Meanwhile, Narin expressed her gratitude, saying, “I’m really thankful to Somi sunbae-nim. She even helped us with things like choosing individual trailer thumbnails. She has been incredibly supportive.”
