According to Billboard and RCA Records, BLACKPINK’s Lisa recently broke the Guinness World Record by gaining a million followers on video platform TikTok in just 2 hours and 18 minutes.
However, this is not the first time that Lisa has set new records with her activities, and one time, the BLACKPINK member even cleared a record held by American pop star Taylor Swift for 2 years.
In particular, back in September, 2021, the MV for Lisa’s solo single “LALISA” reached over 73,600,000 views in just 24 hours, as announced by YouTube. With this, Lisa successfully broked Taylor Swift’s record for Most Music Video Views In 24 Hours on YouTube, which was previously held with the 2019 MV “ME!” with over 65 million views in one day.
It seems that whenever Lisa starts a new project, the female idols are slaying achievements left and right, proving her immense influence in the music industry as a solo artist.
