BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Talks About When She Followed Red Velvet’s Seulgi To SM

On August 16th, the YouTube channel “Hi Seulgi” uploaded a video titled “Summer vacation with Blackpink JISOO. No Plan Guide”.

In the video, Seulgi revealed that Jisoo visited SM in the past. Jisoo shared, “SM was fun. It was an interesting place”. Seulgi added, “We had plans to hang out and I said ‘Let’s hang out’ and you said ‘I had a dance lesson at that time’. You really showed up in full workout gear. She came to our company to take a lesson”.

Seulgi continued, “I wanted to give you a proper SM TOWN tour but it was during the trainee evaluation period, so I couldn’t show you everything”. Jisoo said, “But thanks to you we got stuck at the entrance originally. But then I used her as a shield to get in.”

Jisoo also recalled when she hosted “Inkigayo” with GOT7’s Jinyoung and NCT’s Doyoung. She said, “We even practiced the MC special stage at JYP, and they came to YG to practice too. But we never went to SM. We never made it to SM in the end.”

Regarding the difference between SM and YG’s practice rooms, Jisoo said, “Our practice rooms were always in the basement so they were dark and had a gloomy vibe. At SM, they practice while looking down from above ground.” Seulgi explained, “Our company’s practice rooms were often pink, or with sky backgrounds and stuff.”
