BLACKPINK’s Jisoo won three awards as a soloist at the 2023 MAMA AWARDS

Jisoo wrote on her Instagram story on December 2nd, “Today is a very happy day, as I can see snow and receive good news. BLINK! Thank you for always making me happy. I think this year is a full year for me. Thank you for waiting for my first solo album, “ME!”, and loving my “FLOWER”.”

Jisoo made her solo debut on March 31 with the title song “FLOWER,” thanks to which she won three awards: “Best Female Artist,” “Best Dance Performance Female Solo” and “Best Music Video.” As a result, Jisoo became the solo artist who received the most awards at the 2023 MAMA AWARDS.

The single album “ME!,” which includes the title song “FLOWER,” sold 1,172,351 copies in a week, becoming the first K-pop female solo artist album to achieve the title a “million seller.” Up to date, the “FLOWER” music video has reached 430 million views, making it the most viewed K-pop music video in 2023.
