BLACKPINK’s Jennie to Extend Activities in the US? Music & Even Animation?

Recently, it was revealed that ODD ATELIER, the self-established label of BLACKPINK’s Jennie, has submitted an application to trademark its name in the USA Patent Office (USPTO). 

This trademark application entails various goods and services, including fan club entertainment services, digital media, music, and even animated cartoons, among others.

As filing for trademark in a country usually suggests upcoming activities in said nation, many people suspect that ODD ATELIER’s latest move may imply that Jennie will be expanding her activities in the US. 

Many were also shocked that Jennie is using her own label for US activities instead of signing with a US company like many other K-pop artists and express admiration for the female idol.
