Netizens picked BLACKPINK’s Jennie as the No.1 among stars who suffered significant damage due to smoking controversy

According to the result of the vote titled “Stars whose images were greatly damaged due to smoking controversies” on DC Inside, Jennie placed No.1. The vote was conducted for seven days, from July 15th to July 21st.

Ranking No.1 with 8410 out of 92,318 votes (10%), Jennie recently caused a stir when she was caught vaping indoors because of the footage of her smoking an e-cigarette indoors. Aside from that, netizens also criticized Jennie’s attitude and lack of consideration as she blew the smoke into the face of a makeup staff standing in front of her.

In the end, Jennie’s agency apologized, saying “Jennie already apologized directly to the staff and is reflecting on her action”. However, public rage continued as Jennie did not apologize herself.
