Some netizens even confirmed that one person in the group made particularly rude comments toward Jennie, and a voice calling the female idol a b*tch could be heard in the background of the video. Despite not hearing the insults, Jennie eventually stopped to sign autographs and even took photos with the fans waiting for her. However, it was noted that Jennie appeared somewhat reluctant and tired, as if the encounter had been forced.
The video, after being shared on social media, sparked widespread criticism against the group asking for autographs and photos. Jennie’s genuine fans called for her company and security team to offer better protection to ensure her safety. Following the backlash, the person who posted the video deleted the TikTok post and locked their account.
Earlier, Jennie released a teaser for her upcoming solo project, titled *Mantra*. Based on the teaser, fans speculated that Jennie’s new album would carry a message of empowerment and inspiration for women. Although the album hasn’t been officially released, the profound meaning that Jennie seems to have infused into her work has left fans eagerly anticipating the music dedicated to women.
