The collaboration MV of PUBG Mobile X BLACKPINK has surpassed 33 million views

Famous game PUBG Mobile and Kpop girl group BLACKPINK recently released their collaboration MV, “Ready For Love”, on July 29th. As of August 2nd, the video has surpassed 33 million YouTube views, proving intense popularity.

It is also worth noting that “Ready For Love” features 3D avatars of the BLACKPINK members, instead of the group themselves. Commenting on this unique MV, the US magazine Forbes could not hold back praise, saying: “We have reached the peak of the metaverse era.”

The MV was reportedly made by KRAFTON, a large game company, in collaboration with YG Entertainment, China’s largest IT company Tencent, and Light speed & Quantum Studio. Among them, Tencent is in charge of the global release PUBG Mobile.

Below are the 3D avatars of BLACKPINK members, which have been created by the joint efforts of global game companies and entertainment agencies.
