Girl group BLACKPINK will visit Paris again a month and a half after finishing their concert in France.
It is for a charity concert hosted by a charity organization chaired by President Emmanuel Macron’s wife Brigitte Macron.
BLACKPINK was included in the list of attendees for the “Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes” concert, which will be held on Jan 25th (local time) by “Foundation Hospitals” led by Mrs. Macron.
BLACKPINK will attend the concert held at Zenith la Villette at 8 PM on Jan 25th to meet fans.
This charity concert will be held between BLACKPINK’s concert in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Jan 20th) and Abu Dhabi, UAE (Jan 28th).
From October last year to June this year, BLACKPINK is holding concerts in North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania on a world tour with a total of 1.5 million spectators.
Mrs. Macron drew attention as she was caught on camera by fans at the concert hall when BLACKPINK performed in Paris during their European tour last December.
The poster released by the foundation ahead of the sale of concert tickets features world-famous singers such as BLACKPINK, Pharrell Williams and Mika.
Tickets for the concert were cheap at 15 euros (about 20,000 won), and were sold on-site only at 16 stores of Carrefour, which sponsored the event.
Carrefour announced that it plans to donate all the funds raised for this concert, including ticket revenues, to Foundation Hospitals.
Foundation Hospitals has been conducting the “Yellow Coin Collection Campaign” almost every year since 1989 to help hospitalized children and teenagers.
In 2019, Mrs. Macron inherited the chairman position of the foundation, which had been led by former President Jacques Chirac’s wife Bernadette Chirac for 25 years.
