BLACKPINK to Become First K-pop Girl Group to Entry ‘Gocheok Sky Dome’

BLACKPINK will adorn the grand finale of their massive world tour, which mobilized 1.75 million people, at ‘Gocheok Dome’. This marks the first solo entry of a K-pop girl group.

According to YG Entertainment on the 24th, BLACKPINK’s ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] FINALE IN SEOUL’ will take place on September 16th and 17th at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, spanning two days.

Gocheok Sky Dome is the largest indoor venue in Korea, capable of accommodating over 20,000 spectators. It significantly surpasses the scale of last year’s [BORN PINK] World Tour’s spectacular start at Seoul’s KSPO Dome concert.

Over the past 11 months, BLACKPINK has sold out large stadiums and arena performances in 64 shows across 24 countries and 34 cities in North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East. This moment underscores BLACKPINK’s overwhelming presence as a top global artist, transcending Korea’s borders.

With this, BLACKPINK follows up their achievement of conquering the largest-scale world tour by a K-pop female artist with the historic feat of being the first domestic female artist to enter Gocheok Sky Dome.

YG stated, “We have expanded the scale to further engage with the unwavering support and love from fans. As BLACKPINK reunites with domestic fans after nearly a year, they will present the best stage possible.”

Meanwhile, the first day of ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] FINALE IN SEOUL’ will be held offline, while the second day will be conducted both online and offline.
