With the revelation of the concert prices for BLACKPINK’s world tour finale in Seoul, many fans expressed mixed reactions, saying “There will be many student fans,” “The prices are burdensome,” and more.

Not only BLACKPINK but also popular idol groups like BTS and SEVENTEEN have seen an increase in their concert ticket prices.

Last year, the price for BTS’s concert held at Seoul Jamsil Main Stadium was KRW 220,000 for VIP seats and KRW 165,000 for general seats.

Also, SEVENTEEN’s concert held at Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium in July this year had prices of KRW 198,000 for VIP seats and KRW 154,000 for general seats.

To apply for pre-booking, fans need to separately join the paid fan club. Fans coming from locations other than Seoul to attend the concert have to bear accommodation, transportation, and meal expenses on top of the ticket price. As a result, concerns among idol fans are growing due to the rising concert ticket prices.
