There’s no denying the insane impact of BLACKPINK Lisa nowadays. But it is by no means an easy journey.
On July 15, fashion magazine Marie Claire China released a Lisa photoshoot for luxury brand Celine, as well as an interview where the female idol got to share her stories. According to Lisa in this interview, she has always been interested in singing and dancing. Her mother recognized her passion and talent at the time, and so Lisa started practicing dancing at the age of 5.
Talking with Marie Claire, Lisa also recalled her challenging trainee life. However, she affirmed that she has always been confident in her debut, and believed in the abilities of members who trained with her. Lisa is even fond of YG’s monthly evaluation, having managed to showcase her skills every time.
Regarding her solo album, Lisa shared that she used to worry at first, but quickly regained confidence after practice. She’s also super proud of what she has achieved so far.
