BLACKPINK Jisoo’s “FLOWER” performance video exceeded 100 million views, proving its strong global impact.

On July 8,  Jisoo’s dance performance video for “FLOWER” exceeded 100 million views on YouTube. The video reached this milestone after 92 days after it was first released on April 6. 

As a result, BLACKPINK has accumulated a total of 43 billion views from their content. The whopping views on BLACKPINK’s dance performance videos, and the growing demand for them, show how much fans around the world are hyped about the YG girl group’s overwhelming performances.

The title track “FLOWER” from Jisoo’s first solo album “ME” is a song with a unique sound base and minimal arrangement. The music video went straight to the top of YouTube’s Worldwide Trending at the moment of its release, achieving 100 million views in seven days. “FLOWER” MV now has more than 300 million views.

“FLOWER” has achieved remarkable results not only on YouTube but also on various global charts. It topped iTunes’ Top Song Chart in 64 countries, including the U.S., and also ranked second on the U.S. Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts.

It also set a new record for K-pop female solo artists, ranking 6th on the Spotify Daily Top Song global chart, 38th on the UK’s Official Singles Top 100, and surpassing 100 million streaming on Spotify after 32 days. In regards to album sales, “ME” sold 1,172,351 copies in a week, becoming the first solo album release by a K-pop female solo artist to become a “million seller.”

Currently, BLACKPINK is touring around the world with “BORN PINK,” drawing around 1.5 million concert-goers. The girl group is set for another two-night concert in Asia before returning to North America for a series of encore shows.
