The attention is drawn to BLACKPINK Jisoo’s possible appearance in the movie “Omniscient Reader”
On Oct 24th, Jisoo’s agency YG Entertainment told Xports News, “BLACKPINK Jisoo received an offer for ‘Omniscient Reader’ and is currently reviewing it.“
Based on the web novel of the same name, “Omniscient Reader” depicts the story that begins when Kim Dok-ja tries to save the world from changing like the content of the novel he reads.
Jisoo is said to have received an offer to play the role of Lee Ji-hye, one of Yoo Jung-hyuk’s colleagues. Previously, actors Lee Min-ho and Ahn Hyo-seop were reported to be considering roles as well. Lee Min-ho for Yoo Jung-hyuk, the protagonist of the novel, and Ahn Hyo-seop for Kim Dok-ja, who tries to reset the world to its original state.
“Omniscient Reader” is produced by Realies Pictures, known for producing “Along with the Gods”, and is directed by Kim Byung-woo, who directed films like “The Terror Live”.
Meanwhile, Jisoo confirmed her relationship with actor Ahn Bo-hyun in August and recently made a special appearance in the movie “Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman”, attracting the audience’s attention.
