After contacting COVID-19 and having to be absent from BLACKPINK’s Osaka concert, Jisoo shared a heartfelt update.

On June 3rd (Korean time), BLACKPINK Jisoo updated a new Instagram story, where she apologized to fans in Osaka for her absence from the concert , which will be held on the 3rd and 4th, in full Japanese.

During a recent fansign event, some fans said, ‘Let’s meet in Osaka,’ and I promised them that I would greet them again in Osaka. However, I am deeply saddened that I cannot keep this promise. I hope BLINKs always know that I will always be by your side, even when I suddenly cannot perform. Please support the remaining members who will bring the most positive energy to the stage! And I hope BLINKs can make many joyful and memorable moments!

After I recover, I will meet you all in the best condition.

Thank you all so much for always supporting me. I love you all! BLINKs, let’s meet soon.”

On the other hand, YG Entertainment announced on June 1st that Jisoo tested positive for COVID-19 and thus would be unable to participate in BLACKPINK’s concert in Osaka on the 3rd and 4th of June.
