BLACKPINK Jennie proves her unprecedented influence
Recently, the Brand of The Year Awards 2022 event is held by the Korea Economic Daily & the Korean Consumer Forum. Accordingly, the Korea Consumer Brand Committee and the Korea Consumer Forum first selected brands from 14 industries including information and communication technology ( ICT ), health, education, finance, shopping, sports/leisure/travel, food, and people/culture. From July 4 to 17, a public consumer vote was conducted through online and telephone surveys targeting them. This voting, which marks its 20th anniversary this year, has 464,633 people participating. The Korea Consumer Forum is also promoting the brand of the year chosen by Chinese consumers through collaboration with local media. From July 4 to 17, it was conducted on the People’s Network website of the People’s Daily. 1,981,254 people participated in the local voting, and the number of votes was 12.7 million , an all-time high.
BLACKPINK Jennie was honored to receive the Daesang: the Advertising Model of The Year award. Notably, this is Jennie’s 3rd award in the field of Fashion/Marketing. Specifically, she previously received the Fashion Daesang in 2020, and the Rising Brand Daesang in the same year.
