Teen psychological thriller Bitch x Rich 2 has officially wrapped, but fans aren’t ready to say goodbye — especially after its final episode teased a mysterious memo, sparking speculation about a potential third season.

Premiered earlier this year and concluding on August 1, the second installment of the hit franchise brought back the intrigue, elite power plays, and emotional turmoil that made Season 1 a viral success. Written by Kwak Young-im and directed by Lim Dae-woong and Park Hyung-won, the drama centers on a power-hungry elite school and the personal and political dramas brewing within.

At the heart of the story was Kim Hye-in (played by Lee Eun-saem), a student from a humble background who infiltrates the elite “Diamond 6” circle. Her complicated relationship with former queen bee Baek Je-na (Kim Ye-rim) evolved from rivalry to genuine friendship, culminating in a satisfying revenge arc against manipulative classmate Min Yul-hee (Park Si-woo).

Season 2 expanded its universe with new faces like Cha Jin-wook (Kim Min-kyu) and Lee Sa-rang (Won Kyu-bin), while existing characters like Kim Hae-in (Jang Sung-yoon) and Seo Do-eon (Lee Jong-hyuk) added deeper emotional layers and unexpected twists.

Despite its conclusion, the final cryptic note left behind in the series has fans buzzing. “What did that last message mean?” and “Are we getting Season 3?” became trending comments on social media. The show’s subtle setup for future conflict has many convinced that the story isn’t quite over.

The drama proved a massive hit across OTT platforms. In Korea, it hit No. 2 on Netflix, stayed in Top 4 during its finale week, and charted high on Wavve and TVING, ranking among the most-watched dramas domestically.

Internationally, it made waves across Asia, placing:

  • #1 in Indonesia
  • #2 in the Philippines
  • #4 in Hong Kong
  • #5 in Malaysia
  • #6 in Thailand (according to Viu’s weekly chart, July 21–27)

It also broke into Rakuten Viki’s Top 15 in its debut week and sustained Top 10 status in 79 countries by Week 3, including the U.S., France, India, and UAE. In Japan, it topped the Korean-Chinese drama category on ABEMA TV.

While nothing is officially confirmed, the show’s immense popularity and unresolved threads have left fans hopeful that Bitch x Rich 2 will return for a third season.
