BIGHIT MUSIC’s Recent Post About BTS Faces Major Backlash

BIGHIT MUSIC’s recent post about BTS members RM, V and Jungkook has sparked significant outrage among fans

On September 30th, BIGHIT MUSIC’s official X (formerly Twitter) account shared an article highlighting the recent achievements of RM, V and Jungkook, focusing on their involvement in movies, festivals and other events.

The article featured photos and commentary on the members’ activities.

However, shortly after the post was shared, ARMYs voiced their disappointment and criticism of the agency. Upon opening the article, fans noticed it was written by journalist Lee Seon Myeong, who has previously been accused of “defaming” BTS and showing bias against the group. Fans also pointed out the lack of content about V in the article, with only a few screenshots of his video included despite his mention in the title.

Many ARMYs expressed frustration, highlighting that Lee Seon Myeong is one of the journalists they have reported to BIGHIT MUSIC.

One fan wrote on social media, “BIGHIT needs to overhaul their entire PR team. This isn’t the first time they’ve shared articles from people who have disrespected the members. What’s the point of a reporting system if they’re still giving these individuals a platform?

The backlash stems from the belief that BIGHIT MUSIC failed to properly vet the journalist before sharing the article, leading to anger among fans who feel the agency should be more diligent in protecting BTS.
