On August 16, Daesung opened up about feeling pressured by his success in variety shows during an episode of his YouTube content series.
During the episode, Daesung playfully mentioned that the production team had high expectations for actress Ji Ye-eun, who appeared as a guest. This made her feel quite pressured, and Daesung could relate to her feelings, as he himself had experienced similar pressure in the past.
Particularly, Daesung candidly shared, “It was about 20 years ago when I was a regular on ‘Family Outing’. At that time, despite still being shy and relying heavily on my older colleagues and the production team’s help, wherever I went, people called me a ‘variety show genius.’ That label was a huge burden.”
Hearing this, Ji Ye-eun nodded in agreement. Daesung then lightened the mood by joking, “You have to overcome that pressure today and prove yourself here, Ji Ye-eun,” which brought laughter to the set.
