Big Planet Made “Secretly record artists’ private conversations…Sue for intimidation”

Big Planet Made Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as Big Planet Made) sued A for intimidation.

Big Planet Made announced on May 1st, “Through our legal representative Kim & Chang Law Firm, we filed a complaint with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency against A on charges of violating the Communications Privacy Act and committing intimidation.

They explained, “For a considerable period of time, A secretly recorded the private conversations of our artists and sent the maliciously edited file to our CEO through online messages. The file is a cleverly edited content that can severely damage the artists’ reputation, and the act of sending it to our CEO is clear for the purpose of intimidation.

The agency added, “In order to protect the honor of our artists and ensure that numerous fellow celebrities do not suffer from similar acts in the future, we are taking strong legal action without any leniency. In the future, we will continue to respond thoroughly to malicious posts to support our artists’ healthy activities.

Meanwhile, Big Planet Made includes singers Soyou, VIVIZ, Ha Sung Woon, Huh Gak, Lee Mujin, BE’O and Ren.
