Big Naughty has apologized for the controversy surrounding his public display of affection (PDA) with his girlfriend.
On June 7th, Big Naughty addressed the attitude controversy that arose during the Tone & Music Festival 2023 through his Instagram live broadcast. He said, “I was reckless. I’m sorry.“
Big Naughty added, “I have never taken fans’ love for granted. I’m grateful for being able to do what I love and I truly appreciate my fans. I will always be grateful to them in the future as well.“
He further expressed, “There was a gap between my action and thought. I admit that I was lacking. I apologize. I will live with a grateful heart towards the people I work with and those who have supported me.“
Previously, during the Tone & Music Festival 2023 held at Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, Seoul on June 4th, Big Naughty suddenly ran off the stage. After disappearing backstage, he returned to the stage after getting caught kissing a young woman. This woman was revealed to be Big Naughty’s girlfriend.
As the video spread through online communities and social media, Big Naughty’s attitude came under scrutiny. Many pointed out that his action during the performance showed a failure to distinguish between public and private matters.
Earlier today, a representative from H1GHR MUSIC, Big Naughty’s agency, told the press, “We are aware of Big Naughty’s attitude controversy. We are in the process of confirming the incident.”
