“Big Bang went to see Ohtani” G-Dragon and Daesung prove to be best friends again

On March 20th, the 2024 MLB opening game took place at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. As it was the first MLB game held in Korea, various celebrities visited the stadium for the game and performances.

The stadium attracted attention with various baseball stars such as Shohei Ohtani and his wife, Mookie Betts, Ryu Hyun-jin and Dave Roberts.

Aside from aespa, who appeared for a congratulatory performance, various celebrities including Cha Eun-woo, Ji Sung, Lee Bo-young and Hwang Jae-gyun gathered at the stadium to watch the game.

In particular, G-Dragon and Daesung made headlines by being spotted next to Park Chan-ho.

Dressed in formal attire for the ceremonial first pitch, Park Chan-ho was seated next to Daesung, who was casually dressed in a sweatshirt, and G-Dragon, who wore a hat and glasses with a slight beard. G-Dragon elicited cheers from the surrounding audience, while Daesung was caught on the broadcast screen with Park Chan-ho.

The combination of G-Dragon and Daesung touched the hearts of fans. Big Bang fans expressed support for their friendship, “Seeing the two of them at Gocheok, the venue for the last concert, feels new” and “It’s amazing to see G-Dragon and Daesung together at a baseball game instead of a concert.“

Recently, G-Dragon garnered attention by posting on his SNS to support Daesung’s fan day event “D’s ROAD in SEOUL”, which was held at Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Seoul, and even attending the event on March 17th.

Continuing to display their unwavering “Big Bang friendship”, the two are triggering nostalgia among fans and garnering anticipation for their new songs.

G-Dragon, who signed a contract with Galaxy Corporation last December, is preparing for a comeback.
