Big Bang’s T.O.P. (aged 32, real name Choi Seung-hyun) went to his last day at work before the military discharge.
T.O.P went to work at around 9:49 a.m. on July 6th at Yongsan Art Museum in Yongsan-gu Office, central Seoul. Today is the last day of T.OP’s service as a social worker. As a result, T.O.P will finish his military service at 7 p.m. after work.
T.O.P, who entered the Yongsan Art Museum by car, is clad in a thick coat even though it is midsummer. He looks pale and nervous as if he was conscious of the swamp of reporters.
He is expected to leave the office quietly on the day. A YG Entertainment official told News 1 that “T.O.P will return home quietly and he won’t answer any question about his feelings after discharge“.
T.O.P. began his military service in February 2017. However, he was later indicted for smoking marijuana at his home in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, in October 2016 and sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended for 2 years, and 12,000 won in fines during the first trial held in July 2017.
Since then, T.O.P has been relocated to Yongsan Craft Museum in Yongsan-gu Office in Seoul in January 2018 and has since been working as a social service worker.
T.O.P was originally scheduled to be discharged in August, but was to be discharged earlier on July 27th due to a rule that shortens the service period, which was implemented in July last year.
