Beomhan Directly Proves Sexual Assault Allegations Wrong

Singer Beomhan strongly denied sexual assault allegations and proved that all the claims were fake by himself

Recently, a TikTok account named @oyimioo drew keen attention by releasing a video accusing singer Beomhan (also known as Harry Wu), who just debuted recently of sexual assault.

Starting the video with “My experience with beomhan (with proof)”, @oyimioo claimed that Beomhan approached her in January 2022 through Snapchat as they had mutual friends and that both were from New York and they started developing feelings for each other.

According to the revelation, Beomhan went to New York with people of his label and she visited him at his hotel and later followed him to his room to have a private chat. @oyimioo then carefully described how Beomhan attempted to sexually assault her despite knowing she was a minor.

@oyimioo then added photos of her Uber transaction after successfully running away from Beomhan’s hotel room, messages with a friend after the incident and a letter of complaint made at the police station to make her accusation look credible.

After the accusation spread online, Beomhan immediately refuted it. He made various posts on Instagram Story to prove the sexual assault allegations wrong.

Before pointing out the incorrect information in the accusation post, Beomhan provided a hotline for any sexual assault victims to call and ask for help, saying “The allegations that have been made are completely fabricated and my heart goes out to actual SA (sexual assault) victims. SA is a terrible thing and is not something to be played with”.

The male singer then countered the claim that he went to New York to meet @oyimioo in May 2022 by showing pictures of him in Guam at that time. He also emphasized that he did not use Snapchat and all the photos the TikTok user used to accuse him could be found on Pinterest. Especially, Beomhan proved that he was in Korea doing livestream on the day of the incident according to @oyimioo’s claim.

Following Beomhan’s clarification, fans also collected evidence to support his argument, such as pointing out that the police report was fake.

Following Beomhan’s rebuttal, @oyimioo posted another video. However, this time she shared a Discord link, and not until then did netizens realize that they were fooled by her joke. People who clicked the Discord link further exposed problematic content shared by the TikTok user. All the accusation posts on @oyimioo’s TikTok account have currently been deleted.
