Behind-the-scenes stories of Kim Min-kyu and Seol In-ah’s hot kiss scene in “Business Proposal” have been revealed

Actor Kim Min-kyu talked about the kiss scene in SBS’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Business Proposal” that made headlines. 

Kim Min-kyu and Seol In-ah, who play two of the four main characters in “Business Proposal”, recently appeared as guests on SBS Power FM’s “Cultwo Show”, which aired on the afternoon of April 4th. 

Regarding the kiss scene of Cha Sung-hoon (Kim Min-kyu) and Jin Young-seo (Seol In-ah) in “Business Proposal”, which drew enthusiastic responses, Seol In-ah said, “I calculated and prepared a lot for the scene in my own way”, adding, “Isn’t people watch rom-coms because they want to be excited by heart-fluttering moments? In order to satisfy the viewers, I focused on ‘how to make audiences’ hearts flutter’ and ‘how to make it look great”.

The mentioned scene showed Cha Sung-hoon kissing Jin Young-seo and taking off his glasses. The scene drew enthusiastic reactions after being spread online. Netizens said, “I wondered whether taking off the glasses was the idea of the director or the actor”, showing curiosity about the making of this scene.

Kim Min-kyu explained the scene, saying, “I didn’t do it intentionally. I just took off the glasses because they were uncomfortable. While rehearsing for the scene, the director said it looked okay, so we decided to take off the glasses. Our kiss should be the main focus but the scene in which I took off the glasses eventually received even more attention”. 

Seol In-ah then said, “Glasses might make us feel uncomfortable when kissing and our makeup might go off. He (Kim Min-kyu) suggested that because he was considerate of me”, and thanked her co-star.
