From July 5 to July 26, eagle-eyed netizens discovered that Victoria Beckham didn’t “like” a single photo or post on Instagram that included Nicola, even when shared by her son Brooklyn Beckham.
However, she consistently showed support for posts featuring Brooklyn alone. David Beckham has reportedly displayed the same behavior. British media interpreted this social media pattern as a deliberate “snub”, suggesting that the former football star and his fashion icon wife are openly expressing dissatisfaction with Nicola’s conduct.
In response, Brooklyn and Nicola seemingly returned the cold shoulder. The couple reportedly avoided liking any of David or Victoria’s posts during the same period—and even appeared to sidestep public reconciliatory gestures by the Beckhams.
The tension has only worsened over time. Despite David’s Father’s Day post featuring all four Beckham children including Brooklyn with a warm caption expressing pride, a source told Page Six in June that Brooklyn had cut off communication with multiple family members and “no longer wants to stay in touch with anyone trying to mend the situation.”
Just a month later, fans noticed that Cruz and Romeo Beckham had unfollowed Brooklyn and Nicola on Instagram. The couple quickly reciprocated by unfollowing the younger Beckhams.
Adding fuel to the fire, Cruz has recently posted cryptic, sharp-tongued messages on social media statements like “Fake people,” “Karma’s coming,” and “Must be hard pretending”. While no names were mentioned, many speculate the jabs were directed at Brooklyn.
