In this day, host Lee Soo-geun asked Seo A-ram, “Aren’t there any dangerous things you experience as a criminal lawyer?” Seo replied, “It’s dangerous even as a prosecutor. It wasn’t long ago. One day, a woman came to my lawyer office to have a visit and counseling, and she came very secretly. She made a reservation for counseling under an alias, paid in cash, and didn’t leave her phone number. Then she came into the office wearing a hat and a mask. I met her in the conference room and she looked so pretty after taking off her hat and mask. She was as pretty as an idol. What happened to such a pretty person? Then she mentioned the name of a famous married male actor in Korea. She said, ‘I actually have an affair with him’. But she was so pretty that it seemed reliable.”
Seo A-ram said, “’I was in a relationship for three years,’ the woman said while shedding tears like chicken droppings, and told me that she was told to quit her company and cut off all relationships with het family, she experienced gaslighting, abortion, and violence. She asked me to help her because she wanted to get away.” “I said I would help, and started writing down detailed notes, but at some point, I felt like it was a bit weird. While talking about the actor’s new drama, the client said, ‘If you watch a few episodes of that drama, you can see his hidden message to me.’ Since then, I had a strange feeling. When I asked, ‘Have you ever met him in person?’ and she replied, ‘No. I haven’t met him in person.’ I asked her, ‘Didn’t you say you had an affair?’ and she said, ‘We don’t need to meet in person because we have similar feelings.’ Regarding abortion, the girl said, ‘I am pregnant with love. Ms. lawyer, you don’t doubt me, right? There are many people around me who doubt me like that, so I get angry every time. She said, ‘I stabbed my mom and now I’m under probation.’ I got goosebumps at the moment.”
Seo A-ram felt that premature stimulation would be dangerous at the time, so she told the client, “I’m not doubting you. I really believe you,” reassuring her. She had listened to her for an hour before sending her back.
Asked what to do with such people, Seo replied, “It’s best to comfort them, send them back and observe to make sure they make as little damage as possible.”
