Beating IU and Jennie, Jang Nara ranks first in trend index for female solo singers for the first week of July

The trend index for female solo singers for the first week of July has been released

The rankings were compiled based on Google Trend Index and Naver search volume from the previous week (June 24th~30th, 2024). The index for the third week of June was based on data collected from June 17th to June 23rd.

Singer-actress Jang Nara (44) has drawn public attention by revealing her secrets to maintaining a youthful appearance. Appearing as a special MC on the June 30th broadcast of SBS’s “My Little Old Boy”, Jang Nara attributed her youthful look to consuming various supplements, including Omega-3, Coenzyme Q10, Biotin and Brewer’s Yeast.

With Jang Nara generating buzz, there have been changes in the trend index rankings for female solo singers. According to Rankify on July 3rd, Jang Nara has surpassed IU, who previously held the top spot, and is now ranked first. This indicates a surge in short-term interest in Jang Nara. Rankify analyzed the comprehensive trend index rankings for female solo singers, as well as preferences by gender and age group.

Looking at the trend index, Jang Nara claimed the top position with 14,501 points.

Trailing behind in second place is IU with 10,139 points, a decrease of 558 points from the previous week. Lee Youngji is in third place with 9,034 points, a drop of 897 points from the previous week.

Other rankings include Jennie at 11th, Joy at 12th, Taeyeon at 13th, Jo Yuri at 14th, Nayeon at 15th, Rosé at 16th, Jisoo at 17th, BIBI at 18th, Sunmi at 19th and Ailee at 20th.

In terms of gender preference, 41% of Jang Nara’s fans are male and 59% are female. For IU, 38% are male and 62% are female. Lee Youngji is preferred by 32% of males and 68% of females.

Regarding age group preference, Jang Nara’s fans are distributed as follows: 7% in their teens, 23% in their twenties, 27% in their thirties, 23% in their forties and 20% in their fifties.
