Bang Si-hyuk “Surprised by LE SSERAFIM’s change, how did you do it?” How did Huh Yunjin answer?

On Feb 27th, Huh Yunjin posted a lengthy post through the official fan community Weverse.

She wrote, “I met Si-hyuk nim (Bang Si-hyuk) not too long ago. We talked about worries, plans for the next album and various other things. Then, we talked about the ‘EASY’ promotion this time, and he said, ‘Actually, I was deeply moved by you all this time. I was worried about the choreography until the day of the music video shoot, but I was really surprised as you came back looking completely different. How did you do it?’ At that moment, I just laughed and said ‘Haha, yeah…’, but the resonance of that question lingered with me.”

She continued, “How did we do it? Of course, continuous practice played a significant role, but in fact, we practiced much more before the music video shoot than after. What changed? As I kept thinking about it, something came to mind.”

She shared, “Honestly, it was really tough this time. Although each of us had different reasons for our struggles, the atmosphere of our conversation was the same. In the end, between takeout boxes and beverage cans, crumpled tissues began to stack up. Perhaps we talked about such hopes in the LA hotel room, bursting with laughter, eating to our hearts’ content, chatting away the night with conversations that were pointless but not meaningless. It might have been fine to end it with just laughter. Well, hope is always worth having.”

Huh Yunjin expressed, “I feel this realization of hope these days. The emotions are overflowing a few floors higher when I’m with the members. Seeing them laughing brightly while tears well up at the same time makes me realize that it’s more precious and appreciated to encourage each other day by day. We didn’t synchronize a knife choreography during ‘EASY’, but perhaps we matched something sharper and stronger than a knife. I dare to believe that.” She concluded by saying, “That’s how it seems, PD nim (Bang Si-hyuk). Anyway, our first week of activities was like that. It was chaotic and tiring, but one thing was for sure: the stage was so much fun, our members were by my side, so I could be a little better.”
