Bae Jin Young isolated by CIX members? Company said it’s “factually groundless”

The agency of boy group CIX spoke up about rumors of Bae Jin Young being bullied and ostracized by group members and fans.

On the afternoon of February 3rd, an official from C9 Entertainment, the agency of CIX, told media outlet OSEN, “The rumor that Bae Jin Young is ostracized by the members is factually groundless.”

Previously, rumors arose on an online community that Bae Jin Young was ostracized by fellow group members and group fans. In addition, a video showing fans throwing water bottles and chatting the names of other members when Bae Jin Young spoke was also published, drawing attention. There were even claims that another member said, “If there’s a zombie apocalypse, I will use Bae Jin Young as a meat shield.”

The controversy grew even stronger when Kim Jae Hwan, who previously worked with Bae Jin Young as a member of project boy group WANNA ONE, shared the aforementioned contents. 

Regarding this, an official from Kim Jae Hwan’s side explained, “Kim Jae Hwan posted the contents with a sad heart over Bae Jin Young being engulfed in this controversy (rumor).”

On the other hand, CIX recently wrapped up the Europe leg of their world tour “Save me, Kill me”, after performing in various cities from January 15th to January 29th. From March 10th to 26th, CIX will visit 9 cities in the United States, including New York, Reading, Washington, Chicago, Houston, Fort Worth, Tempe, Los Angeles and Oakland, for the North America leg of their world tour.
