Actress Bae Doona made a surprise transformation into NewJeans with rookie Jung Hoerin.
Bae Doona posted a video on her Instagram on Feb 9th. In the video, Bae Doona appears with rookie actress Jung Hoerin. The two, dressed in black and white, showed off a dancer cover of NewJeans’ “Hype Boy”.

Jung Hoerin boasts dancing skills comparable to those of idols. Bae Doona is shy but still copies her junior’s every move, making fans laugh.

Meanwhile, Bae Doona and Jung Hoerin worked together in the movie “Next Sohee”, which was released on Feb 8th.
“Next Sohee” is an intense story about an incident that a confident 18-year-old high school student Sohee (Kim Si Eun) goes through on field training and detective Yujin (Bae Doona) who investigates it in the same space but at different times.
This is a new work by director Jung Joo Ri of “A Girl at My Door” and is based on a real incident that took place at a call center of a mobile telecommunications company located in Jeonju in 2016. In the movie, Bae Doona plays Yujin, a detective who investigates the death of a high school student, Sohee, and Jung Hoerin plays Junhee, Sohee’s friend.
